Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy covers cookies and browser storage used on uhuruspace.com and the UhuruSpace web application.
1. What we use
We use cookies and browser local storage only for essential, functional purposes:
- Sign-in sessions — Firebase Authentication uses storage to keep you signed in.
- Interface preferences — things like your light/dark theme choice and sidebar state.
- Cached settings — a local copy of your business settings and exchange rates, so the app loads faster.
None of these are used to track you across other websites.
2. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't currently run any third-party analytics or tracking scripts (for example, Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) on the Service. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy first.
3. Third-party cookies
If a business connects an optional integration — Google Calendar or their own Stripe account — that provider's own cookies may be set during the connection flow, governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or clear cookies and site data through your browser's settings. Note that blocking essential storage will prevent signing in and using the Service properly.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
